Taiwanese laptop maker MSI has unveiled a trio of new laptops at a recent press conference in France. The new MSI Wind U110, Wind U115 and Wind U120H laptop were received with enthusiasm for the cool specs wrapped in a 1.1kg package.
Coming soon in 2009, the Wind U110 laptop sports a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor with an Intel SCH US15W chipset, 1GB DDR2 and a 120/160/250GB SATA HDD. The 10-inch LCD display features a 1,024-by-600-pixel resolution. The Wind U110 laptop also comes with either a 1.3- or 2-megapixel webcam, a 4-in-1 memory card reader, three USB 2.0 ports, microphone and headphone ports, Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR and VGA out.
Next on the list is the Wind U115 laptop, which basically features the offerings of the Wind U110, but beefed up with a hybrid HDD with flash memory, optional upgrade to 2GB DDR2 memory, and 80/120/160GB HDDs with 8/16/32GB SSDs.
The third little laptop announced in the Wind U120H. This laptop comes with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 945GSE + ICH7-M chipset, 1GB DDR2 memory, a 80/120/160GB SATA HDD, a 4-in-1 memory card reader, VGA-out, three USB 2.0 ports, microphone and headphone ports, Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and a 1.3- or 2-megapixel webcam. The "H" in Wind U120H stands for 3.5G HSDPA.
